Using the osm Installer Script

Once we have informed you that your license has been activated, you can install osm.

1.

You need to ensure PCAP is installed to use the Packet Inspection*:

yum install libpcap libpcap-devel

* This will not work on Virtuozzo/openVZ servers

Next, install osm:

If using an IPv6 license, replace ipv4 with ipv6 below

cd /usr/src
rm -f osm*
wget https://download.configserver.com/osminstaller.tgz
tar -xzf osminstaller.tgz
perl osminstaller.pl ipv4
rm -fv osminstaller.*

You should now refer to the osm documentation through the WHM UI.

If you have successfully changed your licensed IP address via the web-based system you do not need to also contact us to activate the license.
